Comparison of Hyd and Bangalore ORR's

Just a comparion between Hyd and Bangalore ring roads by considering their fulfilment of purposes.

Hyd

It's range approximately from the center of city is 20 - 40 km.
City didn't spread enough to touch ORR yet at almost all the places. West side may touch first, next south west and north west. East, South, North parts of the city are long way to go to touch ORR.

Pros:

Whole city is inside the ORR and there is plenty of room for city to develop inside the ORR. It's very good for future of the city.
Since it is so far from the city you need not to cross it so often which reduces the traffic at intersections points.
City will have enough space inside the city to build new roads.
You can travel from eastern most point to western most point which is around 60 - 80 km apart in less than 60 min. This can't be possible if ORR was built closer to the city center.

Cons:

Since it so far from from the city it is less useful at present to reach most of the places inside the city.
If you can't access most of the places inside the city the ORR is not fulfulling the purpose at all.
Since the usage of ORR is less traffic inside city would be heavy.

Bangalore:

It's range approximately from the center of city is 10 - 25 km.
City touched and even crossed ORR in several areas. Especially, northerand eastern sides of city have crossed the ORR and still developing rapidly.

Pros:

ORR here is beaten to death literally, especially northern and eastern sides. You just can't see empthy road at any point of time.
ORR has become an intersection point on these two sides of the city.
You just have travel few min inside the city to reach ORR as it is easily reachable from inside the city.
It reduces the traffic inside the city.

Cons:

If city further spreads present ORR might not be able to serve its purpose so you would need an extra ORR having more radius compared to current one.
Since it is easily accessable traffic on and near ORR is a mess.
