Conscious vs subconscious
Your conscious mind thinks, analyzes, makes rational decisions. The subconscious mind doesn't have the ability to think or analyze but can make ds irrationally. They normally don't work dependently. Ex: If you see a food item your subconscious says go and eat it. Your conscious mind thinks about the pros and cons and makes a decision. If you decide to eat there is no problem Otherwise your subconscious fulfills its desire in another way, like dreaming. Here when your conscious mind making a decision it doesn't consider the subconscious mind's desire. The subconscious mind couldn't force the conscious mind to make a decision in favor of it. People, most of the times use their subconscious mind. And its decisions suck most of the time. Our conscious mind might be able to make extremely intelligent decisions but it can't be used all the time. It is prone to several distractions.
